Dementia Care

Most seniors will develop some level of dementia in their lifetime … this is inevitable. Unfortunately, more than 60% of these cases will be Alzheimer’s which can have profound and far reaching effects on an individual and everyone around them. Assisting someone with dementia requires more than just compassion. There are skills and methods that will make a difference in how a person copes with the dementia and their ability to retain their vitality and independence. We can provide the skilled assistance to ensure safety and offer some peace of mind.

Personal Care

Inevitable changes in our physical abilities as we age can result in changes in our personal hygiene. The physical act of bathing or taking a shower can become unpleasant or even dangerous. Incontinence may be an issue which snowballs into change in personality, unsocial behavior, and lack of motivation to keep up personal grooming. Our caregivers have the requisite physical skills as well as the ability to work with and encourage the senior client with respect and sensitivity to their dignity.
